Apple introduces iPad 2 with a completely new, thinner design!
Today Apple introduced the new iPad 2, with thinner and faster design, and with IOS 4.3! This second-generation tablet, uses a new dual-core processor called the A5, said to be twice as fast as the A4. Graphics processing is said to be nine times faster, and the device has both front- and rear-facing cameras.
The new iPad 2 is one-third thinner than the first-generation model, just 8.8mm thick, even thinner than the iPhone 4. At just 1.3 pounds, it is lighter than the previous 1.5 pound iPad.
It will carry the same starting price of $499 for the entry-level 16GB Wi-Fi-only model.
