Apple’s iOS 4.2 Available Today for iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch

On Wednesday iOS 4.2 was released for developers, and one known feature from the iPhone; the volume silencer switch, will replace the screen lock switch. The screen lock orientation feature will in iOS 4.2 be made available via the multitask bar, swiping left. A screen brightness slider will be available along side the screen orientation lock.
Original the screen lock switch was presented as a volume silencer switch – but shortly before the release of the iPad, the switch changed to the present screen lock.
