HowTo: iPad 3G on holiday in Greece

Mobile 3G Broadband on Demand in Greece. If you not got a international plan from your own 3G carrier, and don’t wanna pay for data-roaming, then you can buy a prepaid 3G plan from the local Vodafone Shop, which gives you 10 days full access to their Mobile Broadband on Demand service in Greece for 19€.
The friendly people at the Rhodes town Vodafone Shop even cut the Sim into a micro-sim and set my iPad up at no extra cost. The Vodafone 3G network is the fastest in Greece and works perfectly for email, facebook and surfing while you on vacation in the sun.
You need to bring your iPad and your passport to the Shop for signing up.

Being a iPad-Geek in a Non-iPad-Country-Yet!

Living in a Non-iPad-Country-Yet like Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Sweden and many others, is like a nightmare for real Geeks who just wants the iPad in their native country now!
What do you do?? – Buy the iPad or the iPad 3G from your nearest neighbor country, like England, Germany, Holland or even Spain ect.

This list is also useful if you go on vacation in a non-native iPad 3G country (like Greece or Thailand) and you want to use a prepaid local 3G carrier network sim instead of your own home-carrier.

You can view the APN settings on your iPad in the following location:
Settings > Cellular Data > APN Settings
